Largest moon of our solar system.....

It was discovered by Galileo a long 400 years ago...It is the largest moon of our solar system..Its name is GANYMEDE, moon of Jupiter...
It is the news about that moon..The first GEOLOGICAL map of Ganymede has been produced by a team of scientists. NASA's Voyager and Galileo missions have helped a lot to do this job. Since it's discovery; it was the focus of repeated observation. These studies depicts a complex icy world whose surface is characterized by the striking contrast between its two major terrain types : the dark, very old, highly cratered regions: and the lighter , somewhat younger regions marked with an extensive array of grooves and ridges.

Distant Galaxy found...

NASA have found a galaxy that may be the most distant galaxy in the universe from earth..It is known as Abell2744 Y1..It is 30 times smaller than our MILKY WAY Galaxy but is producing 10times new stars as is typical for galaxies in our young universe.

Saturn's hexagonal jet storm

Do you know that Saturn's storm can lasts for years, decade even for centuries..It's so surprising. But in this world there are many things like this..   Recently, on 4th February NASA has released a amazing photograph of a hexagon shaped storm atop Saturn's north pole. It was taken by the unmanned Cassini-Huygens spacecraft. The storm is so big that txo Earth can fit within it's 30,000km length.      "The hexagon is just a current of air. A hurricane on Earth typically lasts a week, but this has been here for decades—and who knows—maybe centuries" said Andrew Ingersoll, a Cassini imaging team member from the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.

A new exoplanet...

Every day scientist are discovering something new or find themselves successful in detecting something new..So here is a latest new for you..
Name of the planet is KEPLAR-410A b. It is an exoplanet..The planet is about the size of Neptune and orbits the brightest star in a double star system 425 light years from Earth.
By studying the star around which the planet revolves, they found that the star's rotation appears to be well-aligned with the planetary movement. The object can be well-studied because the star is relatively bright, it can be seen if strong binoculars are used. The planet orbits one star of what appears to be a binary star, and the orbit is not circular but slightly eccentric. The planet is a bit larger than our Earth, with a radius of about 2.8 times that of our planet. With a period of around 18 days, it is much closer to its star than Earth is to our sun, and therefore unlikely to be suitable for life due to its high temperature. Perturbations on the discovered planet indicate that there is likely another, as of yet unknown planet in the system. The star is around 2.7 giga-years old and is a little larger than the Sun. We will never be able to go there, as it is located at around 425 lightyears from Earth..But researches will be continued to explore more information about the exoplanets.

Our journey starts now..

This blog has been created to give you the most unnoticeable information about the universe..the informations about those things are happening beyond our eyes..but we cant see or unable to recognize...Let's have a nice journey with you..Thank you..
